WELCOME TO THE IMANI BOOK CLUB'S WEBSITE!
The Imani Book Club is Celebrating 10 Years of Bonding over African-American Literature!
E. LYNN HARRIS
In July of this year we lost one of my favorite authors, E. Lynn Harris. I had the opportunity to see him twice and talk with him usually in a joking manner about coming to Montgomery for a book signing. He tried. His writing voice will truly be missed. Hopefully, in the next couple of months I'll be able to write a fitting tribute to one of the most honest, prolific and best African-American and American writers to grace us with his written words. RIP, E. Lynn Harris.
As part of our tribute, let all make an effort to purchase his book, Mama Dearest, which was release this month so his book can make the best seller's list. E. Lynn 2001
